Afternoon Tea at B24 in The Fairmont Rey Juan Carlos I, Barcelona
Celebrating 25 years in Barcelona, The Fairmont Rey Juan Carlos I has been completely refurbished. After finishing a tour of the stunning hotel and 19th-century gardens we decided to have afternoon tea at B24. The restaurant, located inside the lobby of the hotel, is decorated with elegance and sophistication. It is a great escape from the busy city as well as the heat and humidity of Barcelona’s hot summer days.
The heart of the exquisite atrium is the B24 restaurant. The fully renewed lobby area is chic and relaxing. The neutral colors of grey, cream, and white are accented with gold. The 400 lights over the lounge area with an additional 200 lights over the bar bring refinement and coziness to the grand 16 story atrium.

The low chairs and tables in the lounge area are a terrific spot for meeting people. If you prefer high tables and chairs, there is a beautiful long table accented with gold lamps and flowers in the middle of the lounge. For a more intimate setting, the long plush leather couches and chairs are the ideal place. Those wanting to be more social and relaxed are always welcome to sit on a stool around the bar. In addition to the bar, they also have a beautiful Terrace Restaurant.
This Fairmont hotel is the only hotel in Barcelona with a private helicopter pad. You can use it to go to and from any of Europe's 10 Best Islands, including Mallorca.
