Lake Louise is one of the most beautiful places in Canada.

It is located just outside Banff National Park, and it offers all sorts of activities for visitors to enjoy, not to mention some of the best skiing in North America!

The lake itself has a deep blue color that’s so clear you can see straight down into its depths.

One of the most iconic hotels on this lake is Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise which provides luxurious accommodations with stunning views out over the water.

The hotel sits at an elevation of almost 7000 feet overlooking seven miles (12 kilometers) of pristine blue waters, surrounded by majestic peaks such as Mount Temple and Victoria Glacier.

The view from your private balcony takes your breath away day after day. You can take a hike along trails ranging from one-day excursions to week-long treks into alpine meadows filled with wildflowers.

Or visit Banff National Park, less than two hours drive north, for other hiking opportunities like Mor Lake or Johnston Canyon.

This is an ideal place for a romantic getaway with your significant other. The Fairmont also has the Fairmont Gold program, Fairmont’s way of showing their appreciation to repeat visitors.

It offers even more luxurious amenities such as access to private lounges, butler service in some rooms, and complimentary breakfast served right outside your door every morning.

Bonus points are earned towards future stays, complimentary parking & internet at participating hotels worldwide, and much more are part of the program.

The main lounge area was very comfortable with leather chairs with plenty of room for everyone who wanted to sit down and relax after dinner.

We were there during one of Fairmount Group’s wine tastings, and they had a lot of different wines from around the world.

If you’re looking for a place to stay in Lake Louise, Fairmont Château Lake Louise should be at the top of your list! You won’t be disappointed.

They offer massages in all different styles, including deep tissue massage, which I love! If you’re looking for some relaxation time during your vacation, then this Lake Louise Canada Hotels’ full-service day & night spa should be on your list as well.
